Absolute Purity refers to the absolute purity of intent. Pure intentions mean doing the right thing the right way for the right reasons. If our intentions are pure then our goals are not selfish. Pure intentions mean approaching a situation, whatever that situation may be, without self-centeredness. Absolute purity is civil. With purity of intent, we can make a mistake, discuss an uncomfortable topic, create appropriate boundaries, and we can say no. With absolute purity, we can do all of this with civility.

Most of us are civil. All of us have room for improvement. We are only human so none of us are expected to be perfect. But we can all try our best to be civil. It doesn’t cost anything and it’s not the least bit tricky.

Our mission at Gammons Medical is to provide superior medical care with absolute purity in an atmosphere of unusual civility.

Dr. Gammons founded Gammons Medical in 2003 with the purpose of providing the finest available medical care anywhere with a humanized approach that makes patients feel like family.

Dr. Kristopher Patnugot DO

Physician

Dr. Patnugot, also known as Dr. P, has been with Gammons Medical since graduating from residency in 2016. He is board-certified in Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine.

Dr. Patnugot is a lifelong Detroit and Michigan sports fan. He also enjoys cooking, playing basketball, playing video games, and playing with his young children.

Kristina Mullins

Practice Manager/ Medical Assistant

Kristina started her medical career in 1994 as a CNA, she went to school to become an EMT and later became a Medical Assistant. She has been with Gammons Medical since its establishment in 2003. She enjoys working with the patients and find it very rewarding when they succeed in their recovery or health goals.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with my husband and daughter, watching sports, and being in the great outdoors.

Mary Hicks

Nurse Practitioner

Mary Kay holds a master's degree in advanced practice nursing from the University of Detroit Mercy. She has a passion for holistic patient care and a commitment to combating the challenges of addiction.

Mary is dedicated to helping individuals overcome the complex and often misunderstood world of addiction. With a patient-centric approach, she strives to create a supportive non-judgmental environment where individuals can embark on their journey to recovery.

One of Mary's goals is to contribute to breaking down the stigma associated with addiction and to promote a compassionate informed approach to recovery.

She cant wait to meet you and hopes to make a positive impact on your life.

Richard Dalrymple

Nurse Practitioner

Richard is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner working at Gammons Medical since 2020. He started his medical career serving meritoriously as a combat medic in the Navy/Marines.

He later graduated with his Bachelor of Science in nursing from Detroit Mercy and began working as a registered nurse in critical care and emergency medicine. In 2018, he completed his master's degree from South University and board certification to begin practice as a Nurse Practitioner.

Richard primarily works at Gammon's Medical Waterford office location. In his free time, he enjoys being active outdoors, playing and watching sports, and spending time with friends and family.

Scott Slater

Nurse Practitioner

Scott Slater FNP-C is a certified family nurse practitioner (NP) who has been practicing with Gammons Medical for almost 3 years. He has over a decade of nursing experience since starting in 2012 with the majority of those spent in emergency room and leadership roles.

In his free time, he is an avid outdoor enthusiast who especially enjoys hunting and fishing. He is passionate about health promotion and physical fitness.

Chelsea O'Neill

Nurse Practitioner

Chelsea received her Bachelor's degree in 2014 and Master's degree in 2019 - both from Michigan State University. Go green! She joined the Gammons Medical team in May of 2020. She is passionate about getting to know her patients as individuals and providing educational, evidence-based care in each visit. Additionally, she is competent in managing co-occurring mental health concerns.

In her free time, Chelsea enjoys cooking, baking, reading, spending time with family and friends, being physically active, and trying new restaurants.

Nurse Care Manager

It was always Donna's dream as a teenager to become a nurse. She started her nursing career as a Psychiatric Nurse in one of the local hospitals, before coming to Gammons Medical.

She loves the time she gets to spend with each of her patients, helping them to live a happy and healthful life and to fulfill their dreams.

When not working, her favorite thing to do is spend time with my family and friends.
